Shunsuke Bito

Shunsuke Bito is the founder of Cotolier Inc., with extensive international business experience in a wide range of industries. After receiving his B.A. in Law from Kyoto University, he joined one of Japan’s largest advertising agencies, where he was engaged in sales and marketing service for domestic and multinational clients for five years. Then he joined Manchester Business School Full-time MBA programme in UK with an aim to broaden international perspective and enhance language and presentation skills. After MBA, he worked for Japanese pharmaceutical company as a global business development manager, then returned to Kyoto in 2015 to be engaged in real estate business focusing on the transactions of traditional Machiya houses. With abundant experience of the real estate transactions with international customers, Bito established Cotolier Inc. in September 2017 to provide various and wider range of bilingual services for overseas customers.   As a satellite office apart from Kyoto, we rent a traditional Machiya house at Mitarai district, on the Island of Osaki Shimojima in Hiroshima. The area is chosen as one of the Important Preservation District of Historic Buildings and our company is aiming to preserve the traditional and beautiful townscape as well as its community as a part of our business objectives.
