The company name “Cotolier” is a coined word, a mixture of “Coto” (means ancient capital, Kyoto, in Japanse) and “Atelier”. As a Kyoto-based company, we hope to contribute to maintain the city’s traditional and beautiful townscape, culture and communities, and promote attractive points of life in Kyoto as well as create new and innovative value with stakeholders coming from all over the world.

Real Estate Business for Overseas Customers (Buying and Selling, Property Management, Consulting)
We provide dedicated English support regarding real estate transactions and property management to overseas customers who are seeking for a truly reliable local real estate professional. We also introduce experienced architects, judicial scriveners, tax accountants and other professionals, as necessary.
Translation Service (English⇄Japanese only)
We provide translation service mainly for real estate transaction (eg. Purchase Agreement, Important Matters Disclosure) and also support translation of general business documents such as market survey report and business presentation.
Retail Business
As a part of our company’s business, we operate a small specialty retail store, “Cotolier Shoten” that focuses on selling organic food and natural cosmetic products. We purchase high-quality products from farmers, artists and manufacturers across Japan with an aim to promote “organic lifestyle” and charms of local cities in Japan.
